If today's weather is fine, shall we try to go to outside!! You might be able to change of mood to fresh air, clear blue sky and colourful leaves.

 ♦Great increase of the number of CON entries in DDBJ Rel.70: huge scale metagenome data
Total number of CON entris greatly increased from 983,699 to 3,932,751 in the latest DDBJ release (DDBJ Rel.70). This big growth is caused by the addition of 4,087,206 entries, submitted from J. Craig Venter Institute, in 2007 April released so far.

The data are the results of marine metagenomic research, and details are introduced in the following papers.
Also, please visit the project web page;

 ♦ The Web page of "XML Central of DDBJ" is getting cool
XML Central of DDBJ provides API (Application programming interface) in the framework of Web services based on SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol).
Almost all the services that you have used with Web browsers are accessible by Java and Perl programs.
You can set up a workflow that mechanically processes your request while you take a coffee/tea break.
