Suspension of the DDBJ activity during the New Year Holidays

We at DDBJ will temporally close our office during the New Year Holidays, in observance of the Japanese custom, New DDBJ Nucleotide Sequence Submission System and data release are also closed.
However, the computer search/analysis and FTP are available as usual.

Aplogy for the DDBJ service down due to the lightgning strikes of Nov. 22

Due to the emergency shutdown of NIG supercomputer system caused by the lightning strikes to the Mishima area (DDBJ locates) , a lot of DDBJ services had been unavailable from Nov. 22, 2012. to Nov. 25.(JST)

DDBJ sincerely apologizes for the long-time suspension of many services.

Feature Table Definition is the common annotation manual among the three banks (DDBJ, EMBL-Bank, GenBank) for the construction of the DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank International Nucleotide Sequence Database. It was revised to version 10.2 in November 2012.
