GIB (Genome Information Broker) は WWW でゲノム情報を提供するサービスで， 真正細菌・古細菌・真核生物のゲノムデータを提供しています。
Max-Planck-Institute により Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus HD100 と Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis str. k10 のゲノム配列が決定され公開されました。 これにともない GIB でもデータが検索ができるようになりました。
