GIB (Genome Information Broker) は WWW でゲノム情報を提供するサービスで， 真正細菌・古細菌・真核生物のゲノムデータを提供しています。
Kitasato Institute for Life Sciences により Symbiobacterium thermophilum IAM14863 のゲノム配列が決定され公開されました。 これにともない GIB でもデータが検索ができるようになりました。
