GIB (Genome Information Broker) は WWW でゲノム情報を提供するサービスで， 真正細菌・古細菌・真核生物のゲノムデータを提供しています。
Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique により Streptococcus thermophilus LMG 18311 と Streptococcus thermophilus CNRZ1066 のゲノム配列が決定され公開されました。 これにともない GIB でもデータが検索ができるようになりました。
