Macrogen, Inc. により Zymomonas mobilis subsp. mobilis ZM4 の Uppsala University により Francisella tularensis subsp. tularensis の TIGR により Silicibacter pomeroyi DSS-3 のゲノム配列が決定され公開されました。 これにともない GIB でもデータが検索ができるようになりました。
