DDBJ Rel. 51 Completed

The nucleotide sequence database collected and maintained by DDBJ is quarterly released online to the public and distributed in the magnetic media. We completed DDBJ Release 51 in Sep. 2002. DDBJ Release 51 consists of 18,401,358 entries, and the number of bases reached 22,782,404,136.

The format of LOCUS line in the flat file is changed as shown below to adjust to the GenBank format from the present release.
