Bioinformation and DDBJ Center has collaborated with Korea Bioinformation Center (KOBIC), Korea Reseach Institute of Bioscience & BioTechnology (KRIBB) in patent sequence data submissions from Korean Intellectual Property Office and ABC (Asian Bioinformatics Consortium) Symposium hosting. In 2021, both centers signed MOU for international collaboration.
KOBIC is designated as national databases for depositing biological data obtained in researches funded by Korean governmental funds. KOBIC has been developing database resources at a rapid pace.
To deepen our collaboration in database operation, two DDBJ staffs, Yuichi Kodama and Kyungbum Lee, were invited to KOBIC and discussed various topics with KOBIC members in 5th-9th December 2022.
